L'Afrique face au fléau des faux médicaments

L'Organisation mondiale des douanes (OMD) a annoncé hier qu'une opération anti-fraude, menée en juillet dans 16 ports africains, a permis de saisir 82 millions de doses de médicaments illicites.

Près de 10 milliards de faux médicaments seraient introduits chaque année sur ce continent.

Ces produits, qui ne contiennent le plus souvent aucune substance active, peuvent menacer la vie des patients atteints de maladies graves.
