Cologne Conference 2016

"No Marshall Plan for Africa!"

On November 26 and 27, 2016, 25 academics, development cooperation practitioners, diplomats with experience in Africa and other experts discussed the state of German development policy and the consequences to be drawn from it at a conference of the "Bonn Call" in Cologne.

They adopted a "Cologne Memorandum", which consists of a concise catalog of statements and demands (Memorandum) and, secondly, more detailed explanations.
