Of the 12 leaders on the broadcaster’s survey list, Zuma takes the fourth spot, with a staggering salary of R2,72 million annually. Zuma takes home more moola than Britain’s Prime Minister David Cameron, Japan’s President Shinzō Abe, France President François Hollande and Russian President Vladimir Putin. United States President Barack Obama topped the list as the highest earner of all the leaders, with an annual salary of R4,9 million. Following Obama on the list is Canadian President Stephen Harper who receives a salary of R3,16 million annually, and Germany’s Angela Merkel, who took the third spot with R2,9 million a year.
